We are excited about the 51st Annual Fall GACIS Conference in Athens, Georgia September 22-23, 2022. The conference will feature Nancy Frey, John Almarode, Steve Pemberton, and Cognia updates on changes to the accreditation process!
Proposals Accepted

GACIS is seeking engaging educational leaders to present at the Fall GACIS Conference on best practices in curriculum and instruction taking place in your school/district.
Presentation Guidelines:
- Presenters must be a current member of GACIS for the 2022-2023 school year. Membership fees must be paid for all presenters prior to the Fall conference.
- 60 minutes will be scheduled for a school or district to share innovative practices during breakouts.
- Presentation should be focused on one of the areas below:
- Best Practices in Mathematics
- Best Practices in ELA-Literacy-Reading-Writing
- Dyslexia Pilot Program Update
- Personalized Learning
- Using Data to Improve Student Learning
- Presenters must be willing to share presentations and/or handouts with attendees.
- Presenters need to ensure that they will be permitted by their school district to attend and present at the conference before submitting a proposal. (Travel expenses are incurred by presenters.)
NO Commercial Breakouts: Only school or district-level GACIS members may submit proposals. Corporate partners, commercial entities or other non-profit organizations may not submit proposals for break-out sessions. Individuals from such entities may, of course, be present with presenters, but they may not lead attendees at break-out sessions.
